Social Media Coordinator

Full-Time | Hybrid (Sydney)
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 + growth opportunities

We’re a growing social media agency working with lifestyle brands, looking for a creative and driven Social Media Coordinator. In this role you will be working closely with the agency's founder, helping to manage client accounts, content performance, consistency, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Plan content aligned with trends, brand voice, and growth goals

  • Identify trends early and adapt them to client brands

  • Create structured run sheets for content shoot days

  • Edit images/graphics and short-form video content (Reels/TikTok) to a high standard

  • Apply modern editing techniques (hooks, pacing, subtitles, retention tactics)

  • Ensure content feels native, engaging, and platform-optimised

Performance & Optimisation

  • Analyse content performance and identify patterns

  • Continuously test new formats, hooks, and angles

Social Media Management

  • Plan and schedule content calendars

  • Maintain a visually cohesive, high-performing feed

  • Reply to messages and comments on clients’ accounts

  • Balance engaging, value-driven, and promotional content

  • Ensure all content is posted correctly and on time

Copywriting

  • Write clear, engaging, on-brand captions

  • Adapt tone of voice across different clients

  • Maintain high standards of grammar and clarity

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts (agency or brand side)

  • Strong understanding of what makes content perform (not just look good)

  • Strong editing skills (CapCut, Canva, or similar)

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organisation

  • Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions

  • Someone who can take ownership, not wait for instructions
